The secret
to a great
suit.
A Belgian Tailoring House
Suits, shirts and knitwear made to measure since 1956 — for men and women, dressed all over the globe. Cut from a library of more than 700 cloths, fitted wherever you are.
First the person. Then the garment. It has worked that way since 1956.
Four steps. No shortcuts.
A commission at Butch is a process, not a purchase. From the first conversation to the final press, every garment passes through experienced hands — the same craftspeople the house has kept and trusted for decades.

The Consultation
We begin with a conversation: how you live, how you move, what the garment is for. Together with our styling experts you choose from more than 700 cloths and a wealth of personal options.
Cloth & Cut
Your measurements become a pattern that exists for you alone, cut in fabrics from the finest mills of Italy and the United Kingdom.
The Fitting
The garment is fitted on you, not a mannequin — marked, adjusted and refined until the cloth falls exactly as it should.
The Delivery
Finished and pressed, delivered when it is right — not before. Your measurements stay with the house, ready for the next commission or a quiet adjustment years from now.

Made to measure, in the true sense.
Garments built around your measurements and your intentions — for men and for women. Not adapted from a standard block; drafted around you.

Knokke-Zoute, Kortrijk, your boardroom or your living room. The measuring tape travels; the standard does not change.

Cloth books from the great Italian and English mills come along to every appointment — the full breadth of the house, in your hands.

A Standing Relationship
Your measurements and preferences stay on file. Reordering a suit or a dozen shirts takes a phone call, not another afternoon.
The team, in one cut.
The way your people dress is the first impression your company makes. Since 1956 we have designed and produced corporate wardrobes and uniform programmes — each one cut with the same discipline as our private work.

A selection of houses we dress
Born a million garments ago.
Butch Tailors was founded in 1956 by a Belgian textile family. In the nineties, Dominique Vindevogel acquired the name and its know-how — and where others cut back on production, he kept the house's greatest asset: its experienced craftspeople.
A million garments means a great many stitches, buttons and hours. It also means something simpler: experience, and the stern conviction that every detail should be perfect.
